Elektralite Sales Manager

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager, Elektralite brand,  will work closely with and take direction from Group One Ltd. management to execute sales and training programs and implement business development programs targeted toward the growth of dealers, consultants and integrators.  The successful candidate will help develop and implement a strategic sales and training plan to achieve identified business development objectives and revenue targets. This role will work directly with select accounts as well as manage a national network of rep firms.  The successful candidate will create and cultivate strategic relationships and trainings at a national level.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will have no direct staff supervisory responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

The Sales Manager will have direct responsibility for developing and managing the business relationship between ElekraLite and its customers and for forecasting inventory and managing the assigned sales budget.

Responsible for stated sales budget with the assigned customers, as well as growing ElektraLite’s business complementary to the go-to-market strategy.

Create and maintain a national price list and MAP policy.

Provide monthly sku level forecasts along with top line revenue projections.

Present and execute new product introductions including, but not limited to, forecasting, training and implementing sell through strategies.

Support the design and implementation of engaging presentations and training to key customers on ElektraLite product offerings.

Update Rep Team on product releases, marketing and promotional opportunities.

Conduct sales meetings and technical training with key accounts.

Regularly review rep firm performance and update/change strategies as required.

Become an expert in brand story, product knowledge, sales applications, setup and demonstrations.

Maintain regular contact with the rep force.

Support customer interactions as requested by dealers and installation teams.

Field support requests from dealers including pricing, special orders, inventory inquiries, troubleshooting, or special requests.

Assist with monitoring and reporting relevant competitive activity in the marketplace.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years sales and training experience, preferably in the Consumer Electronics and/or Custom Installation industry.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of entertainment lighting and control systems (DMX, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong technical competence.

Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of an organization.

Preferred location is our Los Angeles area or Long Island NY area office.  However, the right candidate can live anywhere in the U.S.

Have clear objectives and strives to exceed them.

Takes ownership for personal career and skill development.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Eligibility Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, sometimes with little advance notice.
